Developed from Brun’s research and residency in Mexico, the project explores the architectural and sculptural heritage of ancient Mexico through a contemporary language of stone. These pieces were developed with the support of Galería Territorio, Institut français d’Amérique latine (IFAL) and Mobilier National.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Made from fragments and offcuts of STEN Studio’s production, the vases draw on Mexico’s lapidary traditions through red travertine, Bellagio white marble, black Orizaba marble, and pink, green and pineapple onyx. Each stone’s colour, veining and translucency contributes to the final form.
