Landscape Memories

Landscape is not a border, but a living fabric of stories and identities. In the age of the Anthropocene, where ecosystems fragment and territories transform irreversibly, it becomes urgent to fix a trace before it disappears. LANDSCAPE MEMORIES archives what will soon be nothing more than a vestige.

Memories

Part of LANDSCAPE MEMORIES, these works translate fragments of landscapes encountered during residencies into sculptural compositions. Photographs and paintings made on site are transformed through plaster, textile and relief, creating abstract traces of topography, erosion and mineral formations. Each frame becomes a material memory of a territory — somewhere between landscape, geological fragment and artificial relic.
